Matteo Rubin is a young Italian football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Torino. He plays as a left back and is an Italian Under 21 international.
Matteo Rubin commenced his professional footballing career at Cittadella in the Italian Serie C1 in 2005 and played for them impressively for two seasons. He played in 24 league matches but earned a name for himself as a very bright young defender. But it has to be noted that he was out injuted for 6 months while at Cittadella. He was called up to the Italian Under 21 national side in 2007.
In 2007 he was signed by Turin-based Italian club Torino in 2007. He has a very lethal left football and is as much capable at attacking as at defending.
