Santiago Raymonda is a football player from Argentina who plays in the midfield. Raymonda has seen silverware in a short career that began in the Segunda Division with Central Cordoba in 2001. Soon, the very next year in fact, Santiago moved to Quilmes Atletico Club and then a year later, he moved to Instituto de Cordoba.
At Instituto de Cordoba, Santiago helped the team win the Primera B Nacional championship's 2003 Apertura title and gain subsequent promotion to the Primera Division. In the next season, he was again instrumental in helping the club stay afloat at the top division. As a result, Arsenal de Sarandi bought Santiago for the 2006-07 season and almost immediately, he was again there to help Arsenal qualify for the Copa Libertadores for the first time in their history. He also helped Arsenal win the Copa Sudamericana, playing a vital role in controlling the game from the middle.
In 2008, after a short stint at Veracruz, Santiago will be playing for Banfield, again in the top-flight. Banfield will be hoping that his run of form & luck continue to shine upon the team that he plays for.
