Marcelo Bustamante

An Argentine left-back, Walter Marcelo Bustamante made his debut in 2000, for Velez Sarsfield. Loaned out to Olimpo de Bahia Blanca in 2002-03 to gain experience, Bustamante returned only to be sent out again to Arsenal de Sarandi. He returned to Velez Sarsfield and became a regular fixture in the side. In 2005, he became an integral part of the team that won the 2005 Clausura tournament. With over 100 appearances for the team, Bustamante left Velez in 2008, to join Banfield.
