An Argentine defender, Dario Espinola started playing professional football in 1992, with Argentino de Quilmes. In 1993, he made a move to Arsenal de Sarandi and has been at the club since. Nicknamed “Cafu” after the famous Brazilian right-back, Dario has become the second highest capped player for Arsenal de Sarandi. He is already one of the team’s longest serving players and his 379 games for the club have seen him bear witness to many incredible feats including the team’s promotion to the Primera Division in 2002. He was also a part of the team that won the first international title for Arsenal de Sarandi, when they won the 2007 Copa Sudamericana. As a defender, Dario has scored 14 times for the club in 15 years.
