Gianluca Grava is an Italian football player who currently features for the Serie A club Napoli. He is a defender and has played most of the time in the lower reaches of the Italian league.
Grava started his professional club football at Casertana in 1993 and after four seasons, 84 league appearances and seven goals moved to Turris. In 1998 he moved to Ternana and featured in 143 league matches and scored one goal for them.
After a season with Catanzaro in 2004-2005, Grava moved to Napoli where he has been a key figure in the backline of the Naples side.
Grava made his Italian Serie A debut when he was 30 years of age and it came against Udinese on September 2, 2007. He has become a crucial player for Napoli, having made over 150 league appearances for them since then.
