Paulo Vitor Barreto de Souza, commonly known simply as Barreto, is a Brazilian football player who is officially on the books of the Italian Serie A club Udinese. He is currently on loan to Italian side Bari.
Barreto started his professional club football career at Treviso and played for the first team between 2003 and 2005, He scored 12 goals in 33 league matches. He was signed by Udinese in 2005 and he quickly became a first team regular for the club, scoring 8 goals in 53 Serie A matches.
Barreto was loaned out to Italian side Treviso for the 2007-2008 season and scored 14 impressive goals in 32 league matches. Barreti has been loaned out to the Italian Serie B side Bari for the 2008-2009 season.
