Christian Obodo is a Nigerian international football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Udinese. He plays as a defensive midfielder.
Christian Obodo started his footballing career at Nigerian side Plateau United and was signed by Perugia in 2001. He had an excellent debut seson for the Italian club and played for them until 2004, scoring one goal in 62 hugely impressive league fixtures.
Christian Obodo was signed by Fiorentina in the 2004-2006 season and scored twice in 33 league matches. He then moved to Udinese and featured in the UEFA Champions League in the 2005-2006 season. He has since gone onto establish himself as the first choice defensive midfielder for Udinese.
