Cesare Bovo is an Italian football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Palermo. He plays as a centre-back.
Cesare Bovo is a graduate of the youth academy of Italian club AS Roma but made his professional debut in club football for Lecce in 2002. He played for them for three years, scoring 2 goals in 30 league matches. He was loaned out to Parma for the 2004-2005 season and he was quite impressive there too.
AS Roma eventually drafted the player back into their squad and that was for the 2005-2006 season. Bovo managed 22 Italian Serie A matches that season and moved to Palermo in 2006.

Bovo failed to settle at Palermo and was signed on loan by Genoa in 2007. He played 27 league matches for the former Italian champions in the first half of the 2007-2008 season. Bovo returned to Palermo in January 2008 but failed to secure a regular starting XI berth for himself.
