Mattia Cassani is an Italian football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Palermo. He plays as a defender and can feature either as a left back or as a right back.
Mattia Cassani started his professional club football career at Italian side Sampdoria in 2002 and featured in two matches in the league for the Genoa side in the 2002-2003 season.
Cassani was then signed by Hellas Verona in 2003 and went onto establish himself at the club, featuring in 118 league matches in three seasons and expressed himself as a promising full back.
In the summer of 2006 Mattia Cassani was signed by Palermo in the summer of 2006 and on April 6,2008 scored his first professional goal against Juventus at home. He is now a regular right back for Sampdoria.
