Massimo Gobbi is an Italian football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Fiorentina. He plays as a midfielder.
Massimo Gobbo started his professional club football at little known Italian club Pro Sesto in 1998 and moved to Treviso after one season. Although he was at Treviso until 2006, e was mostly sent on loan to a number of clubs. He played on loan for Giugliano in 2001-2002, AlbinoLeffe in 2002-2003 and then for Cagliari between 2004 and 2006.
Gobbo scored 5 goals in 71 league matches while on loan at Cagliari and was hugely impressive. He was signed by Fiorentina in the summer of 2006 but has not been able to play regularly.
Massimo Gobbo has featured just once for his nation Italy so far. That was against Croatia on August 16,2006 as a substitute for Massimo Ambrosini in the 75th minute.
