Lars Martin Jorgensen is a Danish international football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Fiorentina. He plays as an attacking midfielder.
Martin Jorgensen commenced his professional club football career at Danish giants AGF Aarhus after progressing through the club’s youth academy. He played for Aarhus for three seasons, scoring 13 goals in 82 league matches. He became a very important played for the Danish powerhouse and was named the Danish U-21 Player of the Year in 1996.
Martin Jorgensen was signed by Italian side Udinese in 1997 on a free transfer and he went onto become a very important player for the club. He scored 30 goals in 201 hugely impressive league matches for Udinese and helped the club finish third in the Italian Serie A in the 1997-1998 season.

Martin Jorgensen then moved onto Fiorentina in Italy and has become a regular for the Viola. He has played on over 120 league matches and is considered a very crucial player in the midfield for Fiorentina.
Martin Jorgensen made his international debut for Denmark in 1998 and has featured in 85 international matches for his nation, scoring 12 goals in the process. He featured prominently for Denmark in the 1998 World Cup and also played at Euro 2000. He ten went onto play at the 2002 World Cup finals and at Euro 2004.
