Daniel Leon “Danny” Gabbidon is a Welsh international football player who currently features for the English Premier League club West Ham United. He plays as a centre-half and is one of the most talented Welsh players at the moment.

He was sent on loan to Cardiff City for a short period of time and was signed by Cardiff on a permanent contract in September 2000. He quickly became a first team player and played for Cardiff between 2000 and 2005 and scored 10 goals in 190 league matches. Gabbidon established himself as one of the best centre-backs in the UK in his time at Cardiff and in 2005 was signed by Premiership side West Ham United.

Danny Gabbidon has gone onto carve out a first team regular spot for himself in the West Ham first team. He has featured in over 50 league matches and is now considered as one of the most accomplished centre-bacs in the Premiership.
