Valon Behrami is a young Yugoslav-born Swiss international football player who currently features for the English Premier League club West Ham United. He plays as a winger and can also play at the full back position and is said to be a hugely promising and talented footballer.
Valon Behrami started his professional club football career at Swiss side FC Lugano and made his first team debut in 2002 and after just 2 league appearances was signed by Italian side Genoa in 2003. After 24 impressive league appearances in two seasons plus a healthy loan service at Fiorentina in the 2004-2005 season, Behrami was signed by Roman side Lazio.
Valon Behrami played for Lazio from 2005 o 2008 and scored 4 goals in 64 quite impressive Italian Serie A matches. In the summer of 2008 he was signed by West Ham United for a transfer fee of 5 million pounds on a five-year contract.

Valon Behrami made his international debut for Switzerland in 2005 and has played over 20 matches for his nation. He featured at the 2006 Germany World Cup finals and at Euro 2008 for his nation.
