Philip Anthony “Phil” Bardsley is a young and promising English football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Sunderland. He plays as a right back.
Phil Bardsley developed at the youth academy of the Premiership and European powerhouse Manchester United. He featured in just 8 Premier League matches between 2003 and 2008 and played on loan for Man United’s feeder club in Belgium Royal Antwerp, Burnley and Rangers as well as Aston Villa and Sheffield Wednesday. He was most impressive at Villa and Sheffield featuring in 13 and 16 matches respectively for them.
Phil Bardsley was signed by Sunderland in January 2008 on a three-and-a-half year contract and has been progressing marvelously at the Stadium of Light.
