Ross Wallace is a Scottish football player who is on the books of English Premier League club Sunderland. He plays as a left winger and is currently on loan to Preston North End.
Ross Wallace commenced his club footballing career at Scottish giants Celtic in 2002 and played for them for four years until 2006, scoring 1 goal in 37 league matches. He decided to leave Celtic due to lack of regular football and was signed by Sunderland in 2006. He soon became a regular at the Stadium of Light after making his debut for Sunderland against Derby County on September 9, 2006 in a match in which he scored actually.
Ross Wallace was a first choice left back for Sunderland in the 2006-2007 season but was not quite so in the 2007-2008 season. He was loaned out to Preston North End in the summer of 2008 until at least January 2009.
