Olivier Kapo

Narcisse-Olivier Kapo-Obou, popularly known simply as Olivier Kapo, is a French international football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Wigan Athletic. He plays as a midfielder.

Olivier Kapo started his professional club football career at French side AJ Auxerre in 1999 and after five seasons, 19 goals and 119 league matches left them for Italian powerhouse Juventus. He played for the former European gaints between 2004 and 2007 but could play only 14 league matches and spent two seasons on loan, first at French side AS Monaco and then at Spanish minnows Levante.

Olivier Kapo played the 2007-2008 season for Birmingham City and scored 5 goals in 26 league matches. He was signed by Wigan Athletic in 2008 and is expected to be a huge player for the Lactics. He cost Wigan 3.5 million pounds.

Olivier Kapo made his international debut for France in 2002 and has scored three goals in 9 matches for his nation so far.
