Zoltan Gera

Zoltan Gera is a Hungarian international football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Fulham. He plays as an attacking midfielder or as a winger.

Zoltan Gera started his professional club career at Hungarian side Harkany SE in 1996 and moved to Pecsi MFC in 1997 and scored 19 goals in 87 league matches for them.

In 2000 he was signed by Hungarian giants Ferencvaros and played for four seasons, scoring 32 goals in 115 league matches and establishing himself in Hungarian football. He won the Hungarian domestic league and the Cup for Ferencvaros.

Zoltan Gera was signed by English club West Bromwich Albion in July 2004 for 1.5 million pounds and soon became an important player for West Brom. He played both in the Championship and in the Premiership for the Baggies, scoring 21 goals in 135 league matches.

In the summer of 2008 Gera decided to move to Fulham after snubbing a new contract at West Brom. He signed a three year contract with the Cottagers and made his debut for Fulham against Hull City on the opening day of the 2008-2009 English Premier League season.

Zoltan Gera made his international debut for Hungary in 2002 and has played 55 matches for his nation so far, scoring 16 goals.
