Simon Davies is a Welsh international football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Fulham. He is a midfield and prefers to play on the right of the midfield.
Simon Davies started his professsional club career with Peterborough United in 1997 and played for them until 2000. He scored 6 goals in 65 league matches and was signed by north London side Tottenham Hotspur.
Simon Davies soon established himself at Spurs and became a regular at WHite Hart Lane. He could manage just 13 league goals in 121 matches for Spurs but at the same time he was always working hard and was favourite among the Spurs fans too.
In the summer of 2005 Simon Davies was signed by Merseyside club Everton for a potential 4 million pounds. He was not that effective at Everton and had a poor first season with them in 2005-2006. When he left Goodison Park for Fulham in 2007, he had scored just a solitary goal in 45 Premire League matches.
Simon Davies is a regular at Fulham and seems to have rejuvenated himself at Craven Cottage. He has been scoring a few goals now and then and is vastly effective for Fulham on the right side of the midfield.
