Paul Konchesky is an English football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Liverpool. He is a versatile footballer who can play anywhere across the back four or in the midfield.
Konchesky started his professional club career at London side Charlton Athletic in August 1997 against Oxford United and became the then youngest player to play for the first team at the age of 16 years and 93 days. He went onto score 5 goals in 149 league matches for Charlton until 2005 and even had a short loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur in 2003 when he played in 12 league fixtures.
Konchesky was signed by West Ham United in 2005 for 1.5 million pounds and scored one goal in 59 league matches for the Hammers in two years before he joined Fulham in the summer of 2007 for 3.25 million pounds. In 2010 he joined Liverpool but has failed to impress at Anfield so far.

Konchesky played two international matches for the England national side. His debut for England came against Australia in February 2003 as a half-time substitute and made his second and apparently last appearance against Argentina in November 2005, again as a half-time substitute.
