Goncalo Matias Ramos is a soccer player playing for Portugal national football team and French giants Paris Saint-Germain.
Club Career
Ramos spent time with hometown club Olhanense in his youth, before moving to Loule in 2011 and on to Lisbon giants Benfica in 2013, where he spent six years in the youth system.
Late in the 2019-20 season, Ramos made his first team debut for Benfica. But he excelled in 2021-22, scoring eight goals in 46 appearances, prompting interest from top European clubs and his maiden national team call-up.
He scored 27 goals from 47 games in the 2022-23 Primeira Liga season, before moving to PSG on a season-long loan in August 2023. In January 2024, PSG made the deal permanent for a reported 65 million euros.
International Career
Ramos played at under-age level for Portugal, before debuting at senior level in November 2022. He went on to play at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, scoring a hat-trick in a 6-1 win over Switzerland.
