Cristhian Ricardo Stuani Curbelo is a Uruguayan soccer player playing for Girona FC. He is a striker.
Club Career
Stuani spent time with Danubio in Uruguay in his youth, debuting at first-team level in 2004.
After scoring 19 goals in 2007 Apertura for Danubio, he moved to Italy in 2008, joining then Serie A club Reggina, before several loan spells to Spanish clubs, including Albacete where he netted 22 goals in 39 games.

He ended up at Spanish club Espanyol on a permanent deal in 2012, despite interest from Deportivo Coruna. He played frequently at Espanyol but wasn’t prolific.
In 2015, he joined English Championship club Middlesbrough, helping them to promotion with seven league goals in the 2015-16 season.
After two seasons in England, he returned to Spain to join La Liga club Girona where he has been since. He netted 21 La Liga goals in 2017-18 and helped Girona to a remarkable start in the 2023-24 season, sitting atop the table in November.
International Career
Stuani debuted for Uruguay in 2012. He was part of the nation’s 2014 and 2018 World Cup squads.
