Roberto Canella Suarez is a Spanish football player who currently features for the Spanish first division side Sporting de Gijon. He plays as a defender.

Roberto Canella developed at the youth academy of Sporting de Gijon and made his senior team debut in 2006. He quickly became a regular for Sporting and has since made more than 50 league appearances for Sporting.
