*Warren Zaire-Emery is a soccer player playing for Paris Saint-Germain FC. He is a French defensive midfielder with excellent technical ability and strong physique.
Club Career
Born in Montreuil in the suburbs of Paris, his father Franck was a footballer who played for Red Star in Saint-Denis. Zaire-Emery was scouted by PSG as a youngster and signed with the club in 2014 to join their youth system.
He excelled at under-age level, including earning France representation. In July 2022, he signed a professional deal with PSG, a three-year contract until 2025.
In August 2022, Zaire-Emery made his PSG first-team debut at 16 years and 151 days as a substitute against Clermont, which was a club record.
He netted his first senior goal for PSG in February 2023, scoring off the bench in a 3-1 win over Montpellier at 16 years and 330 days.
After making 31 appearances in his debut 2022-23 campaign, he backed that up to establish himself as a regular first-team player in 2023-24, including netting a UEFA Champions League goal against Borussia Dortmund.
International Career
Zaire-Emery was capped at every under-age level by France from Under-16 through to Under-21. In November 2023, he was called up by the France senior national team. He debuted against Gibraltar and scored in a 14-0 win.
