Sergio Sanchez Sanchez is a Spanish football player who currently features for the Spanish first division side Sporting de Gijon. He plays as a goalkeeper.
Sergio Sanchez Sanchez started his professional club career in 1998 for Sporting de Gijon and featured in 26 matches in two seasons for his club. He was signed by Atletico Madrid in 2002 and stayed at the Calderon until 2005 but he was mostly sent on loan to other clubs.
After playing a season for Spanish side Hercules and then one season for Dutch club ADO Den Haag, Sergio Sanchez Sanchez was signed by Sporting de Gijon in the summer of 2007.
