Djed Spence is a soccer player playing for Tottenham Hotspur. He is an English full-back.
Club Career
London-born Spence spent time with Fulham in his youth career, but moved north to Middlesbrough in 2018.
His career came to life during a loan spell with Nottingham Forest where he was awarded the EFL Championship Player of the Month award for March 2022 and won the Goal of the Month too.
Spence won the EFL Young Player of the Month for a second time before helping Forest earn promotion to the Premier League.
In July 2022, Tottenham moved to sign Spence on a five-year deal for 20 million pounds. He was loaned to French club Rennes in January 2023 for six months.
In August 2023, he was loaned again by Spurs to Championship club Leeds United on a season-long deal. He suffered a knee injury but terminating his loan spell in January before moving to Italian club Genoa on loan.
