Benjamin Sesko is a Slovenian footballer player who plays as a forward, currently for Salzburg.
Sesko initally spent time in his youth witih local club Radece. He moved to Krsko in 2016 and impressed quickly, before another switch to Domzale. At 16-years-old, Sesko was signed by Salzburg on a three-year deal and loaned to second tier FC Liefering where he netted 21 goals in 29 games.
He debuted 18 months later in the Austrian Bundesliga with Salzburg and impressed in his maiden season, scoring 11 goals from 37 appearances in all competitions. He is a taller striker whose hold-up play is a feature, prompting interest from RB Leipzig and Manchester United.
In August 2022, Leipzig confirmed a five-year contract for Sesko which would see him join the club in mid-2023, playing the 2022-23 season with Salzburg in Austria.
