Marek Cech is a Slovakian international football player who currently features for the English Premier League club West Bromwich Albion. He plays as an attacking left-sided wing-back.
Marek Cech started his professional career at Inter Bratislava in 2000 and played for them for four years until 2004, scoring one goal in 71 league matches. He then played the 2004-2005 season for the Czech giants Sparta Prague and was signed by FC Porto in 2005. He played 78 league matches for the Portuguese giants and won the Portuguese Superliga in 2006 and 2007.
West Bromwich Albion signed Marek Cech in the summer of 2008 for 1.4 million pounds and made his debut for West Brom in the English Premier League against Arsenal in August.
