Sebastian Bassong

Sebastien Bassong is a young French football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Newcastle United. He is defender and is said to be a very promising one too.

Sebastien Bassong is a graduate of the famous Clairefontaine youth academy and started his professional club career as a left footed centre back-cum-left back at French side FC Metz in 2005.

After playing for them for three years and making 78 league appearances and scoring one goal, he was signed by Newcastle United in 2008 for 1.8 million pounds.
