Career

Frimpong developed his skills within the Manchester City Academy before moving to Scotland to join Celtic in 2019. His time in Glasgow was an immediate success, as he helped the club secure a domestic treble, winning the Scottish Premiership, Scottish Cup, and Scottish League Cup in the 2019–20 campaign.

In 2021, Frimpong transferred to the German Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen. He became a vital component of the squad, playing a starring role in their historic 2023–24 season where they captured both the Bundesliga title and the DFB-Pokal.
