Senior Career
Damsgaard turned pro in 2017 and joined the senior team at Nordsjælland. He played with the team through to 2020 and he made 84 appearances for the team. Later in 2020, he signed on to play with Sampdoria. He made 46 appearances for Sampdoria and he scored 2 goals.
