Jack William Stacey was born and raised in Bracknell, Berkshire, England. At the young age of 8 years, he attended the Reading youth system, then signed his first professional contract with Reading in December 2013. He also debuted as a professional footballer in replacement for Jake Taylor in a winning match against Ipswich Town in August 2014.Career
Stacey spent 4 years with Reading. While with Reading, he was loaned temporarily to Barnetm Carlisle United, and Exeter City.In June 2017, he signed a contract with Luton Town for 2 years. His year was quite productive with Luton Town, as he was awarded as 2017 Luton Town Young Player of the Season. By the following season, he received the same award.
In July 2019, he signed with AFC Bournemouth for 4 years. His breakthrough performance with Bournemouth was in a winning match against Blackburn Rovers, where he recorded his first goal.
