Sander Berge is a soccer player playing for Burnley and Norway. He is a midfielder.

Club Career

Berge spent time with Asker in his youth career, moving to Norwegian Eliteserien club Valerenga prior to the 2015 season where he made his top-flight debut and established himself as a key player.

In January 2017, he moved to Belgian club Genk on a four-year deal. He quickly became a first-team player, helping Genk go on a run in the 2016-17 Europa League to the quarter-finals. In Belgium, he helped Genk will the 2018-19 Pro League title along with the ensuing 2019 Super Cup.

After four years and 113 appearances for Genk, Berge moved to England, with newly promoted Premier League club Sheffield United signing him during the January transfer window, having enjoyed a strong tart to their return campaign. He was United’s club record signing.

The Blades were relegated in 2020-21, but Berge stuck with them through two Championship campaigns, playing regularly and helping them regain their Premier League status as runners-up in 2022-23.

Despite that, Berge opted to leave United to sign with fellow newly promoted outfit Burnley for an undisclosed fee on a four-year deal.

International Career

Berge made his Norway senior debut in 2017 against Northern Ireland. He previously featured at under-age level.
