Cole Palmer is a soccer player playing for Chelsea. He is an England international attacking midfielder/winger.
Club Career
Manchester-born Palmer spent time with Manchester City’s academy as a junior, going on to make his senior debut in 2020 against Burnley in the EFL Cup fourth round.
Palmer made limited opportunities at City, playing 11 games for three goals in the 2021-22 season, before earning 25 appearances in 2022-23 without ever cementing his spot in the side.
In 2023, he moved from City to Chelsea for 40 million pounds on a seven-year deal. He made a major impact in his maiden season with the Blues, scoring 27 goals and providing 15 assists to earn a host of awards.
He was twice nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month, while he also won the Premier League Player of the Month and Premier League Goal of the Month in April 2024.
Palmer memorably scored his maiden professional hat-trick against Manchester United in a comeback 4-3 win. He won Chelsea’s Players’ Player of the Season as well as Chelsea Player of the Season at the end of the campaign.
He was nominated for the Premier League Player of the Season and the FWA Footballer of the Year award, and won the Premier League Young Player of the Season and PFA Fans’ Player of the Year awards.
International Career
Palmer played for England at numerous under-age levels, going to make his senior debut in 2023.
He was part of England’s squad at Euro 2024, when they lost the final 2-1 to Spain.
