Jason Roy Brown is a Welsh football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Blackburn Rovers. He plays as a goalkeeper and although he lacks height, he compensates for that with his positioning sense, shot-stopping reflexes and marvelous reflexes.
Jason Brown developed at the youth academy of Charlton Athletic but he failed to play any league match for the London side and joined Gillingham in the summer of 2001. He made a huge name at Gillingham and played for them until the summer of 2006. Although he had to struggle with injuries for two seasons, he still managed to sustain his place as the number one for his nation. He made 126 league appearances for Gillingham.
At the start of the 2006-2007 season Brown was signed by the Premiership regulars Blacnburn Rovers. He is now the club’s second choice goalie.
