Birmingham-born Ramsey spent his youth career with Villa, starting out in 2007.
He made his first-team debut in 2018-19 in the Championship against West Bromwich Albion. In 2018-19, he won Villa’s Academy Player of the Season.

Ramsey was loaned to League One club Doncaster Rovers in January 2020. He scored a double on his Doncaster debut.
Villa earned promotion in 2020 and Ramsey made his Premier League debut in 2020-21 with the Villans. He scored his first Premier League goal in October 2021 against Arsenal.
Ramsey won Aston Villa’s Young Player of the Season in both 2021–22 and 2022–23.
International Career
Ramsey has played for England at under-age level but is yet to be capped at full international level.
