Nicholas “Nicky” Shorey is an English football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Aston Villa. He is a left back and is regarded as one of the best in his positions in the English Premier League.
Nicky Shorey started his career at Leyton Orient and made his debut for the club in 1999. After two season he left the club to move to Reading where he established himself as the Royal’s first choice left back pretty soon and soon became a club hero.
Nicky Shorey played for seven years for Reading and in the summer of 2008 after 12 goals in 267 league appearances for Reading was signed by Aston Villa for 3.5 million pounds on a three-year deal.
Nicky Shorey made his international debut for England in 2007 and has played 2 matches for his nation so far.
