Angelo Peruzzi is a former starting goalkeeper for Lazio and Italy. He started his professional career in Roma in 1986, moved to Hellas Verona in 1989, and signed for Juventus in 1991.

In Juventus he became the first choice goalkeeper and won the Scudetto three times and the Champions League once. In 1999 he played for Inter and moved on to Lazio in 2000 for a transfer sum of 17.9 million euros.

Peruzzi ended his career at the end of the 2006/07 season after 192 appearances in Lazio.
