Career
Perhaps Mepham’s biggest breakthrough was when he was promoted as he signed a 5-year contract with Brentford. After Andreas Bjelland’s Achilles injury, Mepham was given more opportunities to play for the team, making his first senior goal.
As the 2018-19 season began, he was also selected as the first-choice center back, however, he was sent out for committing two bookable offenses.
In January 2019, he signed a contract with AFC Bournemouth worth £12 million. A week later, he debuted as a substitute player in a winning match against Chelsea. He also became a regular player since Steve Cook couldn’t continue temporarily play due to an injury.
