Andriy Lunin

Andriy Lunin is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for La Liga club Real Madrid and the Ukraine National Team.

Andriy Oleksiyovych Lunin was born on February 11, 1999, in Krasnohrad, Ukraine. The Ukrainian goalkeeper stands 1.91 m (6 ft 3 in) tall.

He married his girlfriend Anastasia Tamazova in a civil ceremony in 2021.

Career

Lunin began his senior career in his home country with Dnipro and Zorya Luhansk before securing a high-profile move to Real Madrid in 2018. To gain experience in Spanish football, he spent loan spells at Leganés, Valladolid, and Oviedo.

Upon establishing himself in the Real Madrid squad, he contributed to a highly successful era for the club, winning two La Liga titles and two UEFA Champions League trophies. His trophy cabinet also includes the Copa del Rey, Spanish Super Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup.

Internationally, Lunin achieved global recognition at the youth level by winning the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup with Ukraine, where his outstanding performances earned him the Golden Glove award.
