Curtis Davies
Curtis Eugene Davies is an English football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Aston Villa. He plays as a centre-back and is regarded as international material for England.
Curtis Davies was born in London to an English mother and a Sierra Leonean father and started his career as a trainee at London side Wimbledon. He however made is professional debut with Luton Town in 2003 and after two seasons and scoring 2 goals in 56 league matches, he moved to West Bromwich Albion in the summer of 2005.
Davies played for West Brom for two seasons and played regularly for them and made 53 league appearances. He was loaned out to Aston Villa for the 2007-2008 when he was impressive.
In the summer of 2008 Aston Villa signed the player on a permanent deal.
