Mathias Jensen was born on January 1, 1996, in Jerslev, Zealand in Denmark. He stands 180 cm tall and is a fan of both Manchester United and FC Barcelona.
His youth career started in 2001 when he began playing for Hvidebæk IF. He stayed with the youth team from 2001 to 2007. In 2007, he signed with Kalundborg GB before he eventually joined the Nordsjælland in 2011. He played for the Nordsjælland youth team from 2011 to 2015.

Senior Career
In 2015, he signed with Nordsjælland and played with them from 2015 to 2019. In the 2017-2018 season, he was named the FC Nordsjælland Player of the Year. In total, he appeared 63 times for the team, making 15 goals. In 2017, he was named the Danish Talent of the Year. For the 2018-2019 season, he played for a short time with Celta Vigo, appearing in 6 matches.
In 2019, he signed with Brentford. In 2021, he helped them win the EFL Championship play-offs. As of the 2022-2023 season, he is still signed with Brentford.
