Marcus Thuram is a soccer player playing for Inter Milan. He is a France international forward.
Club Career
Thuram, who is the son of French World Cup winner Lilian Thuram, was born in Italy during his father’s time with Parma but spend his youth career in France with primarily Sochaux.
He debuted for Sochaux in Ligue 2 in 2015. In July 2017, he moved to Guingamp in Ligue 1. He was part of the Guingamp side that reached the 2018-19 Coupe de la Ligue final. He netted nine goals in the 2018-19 Ligue 1 campaign.

In July 2019, Thuram joined Borussia Moenchengladbach on a four-year deal for 12 million euros. He wasn’t prolific but his ability in attack wasn’t entirely about goals, named Bundesliga Rookie of the Month in September, October and November in 2019. Thuram netted 44 goals from 134 games across four seasons for Gladbach.
In April 2023, it was confirmed Thuram would leave Gladbach at the end of the season on a free transfer, singing with Inter Milan in July on a five-year contract. He scored his first Inter goal in September 2023. He won the Serie A Goal of the Month in September.
International Career
Thuram played for France at many under-age levels, including helping the national team win the 2016 Under-19 UEFA European Championship.
Thuram debuted for Les Bleus at senior level in 2020. He earned a late call-up to the 2022 World Cup. He played in the final and provided the assist for Kylian Mbappe’s equaliser but Les Bleus lost to Argentina on penalties.
