Tim Howard is an American international football player who currently plays for the English Premier League club Everton. He is a goalkeeper and is said to be one of the best in England
Howard made his professional debut in football for the Stateside club North Jersey Imperials in 1997 and then moved to Metrostars in 1998. He played for them until 2003 and made 85 appearances for them in the league.
In 2003 Manchester United signed Howard for $4 million and Howard immediately replaced Fabian Barthez as United’s number one goalkeeper. But he would commit some howlers in his time at United and was dropped from the starting line-up.
Howard was offloaded to Everton for the 2006-2007 on loan and was signed on a permanent deal by the Merseysiders in the summer of 2007 and has been playing regularly for them. He is now the undisputed number one for the Merseyside outfit and have played in over 250 competitive games for them.
Howard made his debut for the United States of America in 2002 and played over 80 matches for them so far. He played at the 2006 Germany World Cup and at the 2010 South Africa World Cup.
