Carlos Miguel Ribeiro Dias was born on February 26, 1993 in Guimarães, Portugal. He stands 185 cm tall. He started his youth career playing Futsal. Later in 2003, he joined Cacadores Taipas and then the Vitoria Guimaraes before being signed by Benfica in 2008.
In addition to his club career, he also played for the Portugal National Team in international events. He was part of the Under-16, Under-17, Under-18, Under-19, and Under-20 teams.

Senior Career
He started playing for Benfica B in 2012 after his youth career. After his first senior season, he moved to play for Vitoria Guimaraes B and was later promoted to the main squad. After two seasons with Vittoria, he moved to play for Lorient in France.
He then spent two seasons from 2017 to 2019 with Metz. While with the team, he was loaned to Legia Warsaw before he signed with them full-time in 2019. In 2017-2018, he helped them win the Polish Cup. After playing for Warsaw, he moved to Greece to play for the Olympiacos. The Greece team then loaned him to Nottingham Forest. In 2021, Nottingham signed him to play for them.
