Ryan Guno Babel is a young Dutch international football player who currently features for the English Premier League powerhouse Liverpool. He plays as a winger.
Ryan Babel is a product of the AFC Ajax Amsterdam youth system and made his debut for the senior side in 2004 when he was barely 17 years of age. He quickly became a first team player for the Dutch powerhouse and featured in 73 league matches for the club and scored 14 goals.
In the summer of 2007 Liverpool signed Ryan Babel from Ajax for 11.5 million pounds but the player didn’t directly get accommodated into Rafael Benitez’s starting xi. He however played 30 league matches and scored 4 goals in the 2007-2008 season in the English Premier League.

Ryan Babel made his international debut for the Netherlands in March 2005 against Romania and scored in his debut. He soon became a favourite of Ducth coach Marco van Basten and played for his nation at the 2006 Germany World Cup and Euro 2008.
