Trent John Alexander-Arnold was born on October 7, 1998, in Liverpool, England. The English international stands 180 cm (5 ft 11 in) tall. He is the nephew of former footballer John Alexander and has Scottish and American ancestry, which technically made him eligible for the United States National Team before his England debut.Beyond football, he is an avid chess player, having once played an invitational match against world champion Magnus Carlsen.

Career
Alexander-Arnold joined Liverpool's Academy at age six and captained the club at various youth levels.Making his senior debut in 2016, he quickly established himself as a creative force on the right flank. He played in back-to-back UEFA Champions League finals in 2018 and 2019, winning the latter and becoming the youngest player to start consecutive finals in the competition.
His time at Liverpool was laden with trophies, including ending the club's 30-year league title drought in the 2019–20 season, a campaign where he was named the PFA Young Player of the Year and the inaugural Premier League Young Player of the Season. He went on to win every major club honour available, including the FA Cup, EFL Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup.
