Oleksandr Zinchenko is a soccer player playing for Manchester City and the Ukraine National Football Team.
Zinchenko, who can play left-back and in midfield, moved to Russia as a child due to the war in Donbas, but played with Shakhtar Donetsk in his youth. He spent 2015 and 2016 with Russian club Ufa.
In July 2016, Manchester City signed Zinchenko for an undisclosed fee, having been labelled a “real talent” in Russia. He was loaned out to PSV Eindhoven in 2016-17, before returning and breaking into the City side. Zinchenko never settled into City’s best XI but was part of the squad that won four Premier League titles.
