Paulo Renato Rebocho Ferreira, popularly known as Paulo Ferreira, is a Portuguese football player who currently features for the English and European giants Chelsea. He plays as a right-back, although he can also play as a left-back and in central defence.

Ferreira started his career at little known Portuguese side GD Estoril-Praia n 1997 and then moved onto Vitoria FC in 2002. In the summer of 2002 he was signed by FC Porto and went on to make 62 appearances in the Portuguese Super Liga until the summer of 2004 when Jose Mourinho signed him for Chelsea. Ferreira won the UEFA Champions League with Porto in 2004.

Ferreira was a regular at Chelsea when Mourinho was the coach but lost his place somewhat in the 2007-2008 season. He has played over 250 matches in all competitions for Chelsea, winning the Premier League thrice, the FA Cup four times and the Champions League once with the Blues.

Ferreira made his international debut for Portugal in 2002 and played for them at Euro 2004, 2006 Germany World Cup finals, Euro 2008 and 2010 World Cup finals. He announced his retirement from international football on August 30, 2010, having made 61 appearances for his country.
