Shaun Wright-Phillips, popularly known as SWP, is a England international footballer who currently features for the Premier League side Manchester City. He is of Jamaica and Grenadian descent and is the adopted son of the England legend Ian Wright. He plays as a right-winger.

SWP made his debut in professional football for Manchester City in 1999 and quickly made a name for himself as a right winger. He played for City until the summer of 2005 and made 153 league appearances, scoring 26 goals.

Chelsea signed SWP in the summer of 2005 for 21 million pounds on a five-year contract. For the first season, he mostly warmed the substitutes’ bench and remained at Stamford Bridge until 2008, when he moved back to Man City.

SWP made his international debut for England in 2004 and has featured in over 35 games for his nation so far.
