Paul Robinson

Paul William Robinson is a England international football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Blackburn Rovers. He is a goalkeeper and although he is still rated highly, his blunders in the past couple of years have really knocked the wind out of his sail somewhat.

Paul Robinson started his professional club career with Leeds United in 1997 and played for them for seven years until the end of the 2003-2004 season and played 95 league matches for Leeds.

In the summer of 2004 north London side Tottenham Hotspur signed Robinson for 1.5 million pounds. Robinson soon established himself as the first choice for Spurs and his string of excellent performances saw him star as the number one custodian for the England national side.

But Robinson committed a number of howlers in the 2007-2008 that cost him his place at Spurs. In the summer of 2008 he was sold to Blackburn Rovers for 3.5 million pounds on a five year deal.

Paul Robinson made his international debut for England in 2003 and featured for his nation at Euro 2004 and 2006 Germany World Cup.
